I was working with this organization just to meet my financial liabilities as I couldn't get the opportunity to work somewhere else. This situation gave me encouragement to work so long with this organization.
Dislikes
The organization wasn't clear about what were they expecting from an architect. Sometimes they wanted to work as an in-house coordinating architect with limited infrastructure and other times they wanted to work as a project/design architect with insufficient infrastructure and manpower. there was not even a basic internet facility provided to me as an architect. All My efforts were in vain as there was no interaction with decision-makers for the prepared architectural designs. My morale was always down as there was no appreciation and consideration for the work I did. My reporting boss always enforced that we have to work as per his instructions if we want to continue to work in the organization which costed huge penalties to the organization in the form of illegal construction. which was unsatisfactory for me as an architect. There was a lot of work stress on me as most of the external consulting architects leave the projects due to mal practicing of the organization. There wasn't enough appraisal/increment to sustain the inflation rate of this country. There was no support for outstation travel. I had to bear it from my own pocket. Since my role wasn't defined so I was working as per instruction received from my senior. I was preparing the conceptual layout, master plans, interior plans, execution drawings & BOQ. I was coordinating with external consultants.

I didn't receive any facilities from Ajanta pharma except health insurance ( which was only 2lakj and included in CTC )and work from home ( In covid pandemic when MCGM on a surprise visit found that the organization is working with full capacity after receiving GR against reducing the workforce in the workplace. My opinions are based for Ajanta International - Andheri. The office Infrastructure, Annual increment percentage, entry package negotiations, except sometimes no taking your work to home, Sat-Sun complete weekoff. Big vision friendly screens are offered apart from laptop to save your eyes from strain and blue light along with external keyboard and mouse if required.

Employee policies need to be worked a lot. Your whole salary is taxable and their are no components like sodexo, uniform to save you from taxes. You have only 24 paid leaves + 12 govt holidays annually. Punching time has now 2 hours bracket, previously it was only 15 mins. If you are late > 3 times a month your half day salary will be deducted. They have strict 9 hours/ day working policy. Even a deviation of single minute will cost you a half day.
