I am hired on contract basis, so there is kind of partiality for us contract basis employees. The pro is work life balance. There is ample amount of government holidays you can get and if you want personal leave it is easy to avail and it also depend on which department you are working.

Dislikes

Con is that because you're on contract basis there is not that job security feeling and the appraisal is not as compare to outside company. Being contractual employee they won't keep you priority for any monetary benefit. Being government organisation they only care for their employees not us. There is no guarantee of receiving salary on time. Sometimes it takes 2 to 3 months to receive salary. Although it's a central government ( U.T) Still the management is always active to update and refresh its core policies and Recruitment in all wings, training procedure, modernization of tender process, introduction SOPs in the operational system, following guidelines internally( AAI), national (DGCA/ BCAS) and international level ( ICAO)

Dislikes

More proper training procedures are required for it's civil and electrical wings like ATM and CNS wings to cope up with the growing demand to maintain international standard.
