Backstabbing Colleague
So, there’s this colleague who seems to be going behind my back. They’re emailing the line manager and complaining about everything I do, decisions, situations, even my work. It feels like they’re keeping tabs on me just to criticize.
What’s the best way to deal with someone like this? Should I confront them or just keep doing my thing?

Why do managers even listen to one sided complaints? Isn’t it their job to assess both sides?!

@saltypurple if all managers did their jobs properly, who would we have to complain about?

Honestly people like that thrive because managers let them. Do you think your manager is encouraging this?

Backstabbing happens when someone’s insecure. Think about it maybe you’re just better at the job than they are?

@dadiji but then how is that my fault for being better?

Why waste time on them? If your manager can’t see through their behavior, maybe they’re the real problem

@wineymoose True, I agree, but then it becomes difficult to stay motivated at work, doesn't it

It’s weird how some people have so much time to complain about others. Do they even do their own work?!
