Managers. Almost all managers are from non technical background. Zero knowledge on development process. In my team it’s complete groupism. Senior manager is from Tamil. Almost all support are in favour of developers and testers from Tamil bg. Even 50 bugs after initial development no escalation. but if your from Hindi, Telugu or Kannada bg, it will be escalated. Promotions are based on how many years you are there in the company not based on your good work or technical skills.
