1) Free access to Udemy and LinkedIn Learning 2) Company gives vouchers to apply for external certification exams like Azure, Microsoft, ITIL etc. However, you can apply for them only after 6 months from the day you hit the production floor. 3) Cool managers, totally DEPENDS on the account that you're assigned to. 4) No "bond" on employment. 5) Training period is "fun" - basically you are taught 5th grade English, phonetics and basic troubleshooting steps initially and then those specific to your account. 6) Salary Hike received for analysts in December 2024. Percentages varied but all got Rs 4 LPA as final salary....Read More
1) Job post was previously known as "Technical Support Engineer". Worldwide company restructuring renamed it to Infrastructure Analyst. Depending on your tenurity and skills, you will be doing varied forms of work, most of the time meaningful and challenging 2) No, you don't completely work on Power BI, Tableau, SQL or other data analysis tools. This is purely a tech support role. You may work on these tools if you want to but it is not a requirement. 3) HRs, Managers, TLs and SMEs in some accounts are basically not good. I have observed and heard from colleagues regarding manipulative and unfair treatment towards some freshers and very few existing employees. Biases and favouritism exist, depending on account and teams, but I guess that is in any company. 4) EXTREME MICROMANAGEMENT :- Your every break and every aux is monitored by TLs, SMEs and few managers. Some accounts also have a "Queue Manager" who's basic task is to shout out your name, tag you on teams, or on the production floor if you're exceeding a break/aux without any respect. 5) No breaks if lot of call flow. Depending on the account, DXC charges their client on per ticket basis. So, lot of calls = lot of tickets = lot of money for DXC. They want you on the floor 24X7. 6) NO Work from Home. Travel to office everyday. Depends on the account unless in extreme cases. 7) Frequent team huddles of 20-30 minute sessions after my logout time 8) Peanut salary with peanut appraisals. 9) Majorly 3 kinda of shifts, according to the account. They can start anywhere from 6 AM to 9 PM. Say goodbye to work life balance. 10) HR department is unsettling at times. The head blackmails some freshers into staying that have received better opportunities outside the company. Experienced joiners that know how corporate politics work counter this and manage to leave the company. 11) Typical Hypocritic Corporate TRAP - 90 days Notice Period - Need to serve 3 months of Notice Period of leaving. (But they want new comers to join within 15 days or less) You have to pay DXC 3 months of your basic salary if you want to leave ASAP. 12) Shifts change every 3 months. 13) They say promotions are available after 18 months of service. But depends on your performance. Unsure if it's real or just a "scam" to keep you. 14) Lunch breaks are severely regulated if there's a lot of call flow. There have been times where agents had their lunch break 2 hours before logging out. 15) In hand salary for freshers - Rs 25K per month and for experienced it is Rs 28K per month into your bank account. Night shift gets you additional Rs500/ night. So monthly another Rs 10,000 extra along with your salary into your bank account. Graveyard shift gets you Rs300/night. 16) Employee badge ID card does not show DXC company logo. All the best for loans. 17) Main reason DXC gives you certification exam vouchers is so that they can show their clients that the company has a lot of talented hires. It's basically to secure more lucrative contracts for the company. 19) IJPs only after 18 months. Still there are many who are in the same position for the past few years. 20) Management can be good or bad, depending on account 21) No holidays on government statutory holidays if your account desk runs 24/7. If you want a holiday, you have to take a planned leaves. Depending on the day and workload, you may even be asked to login on your holiday. 22) High chances that SMEs would be earning less or similar to the help desk agents. Also most SMEs are not actually "SMEs" on paper. It appears to be that they are being taken advantage of. 23) Extreme micro management in many cases for all agents. 24) Your views about a particular case are not valued unless if an agent has received a DSAT regarding the same. 25) Existing employees leave and new employees join every alternate month. Company fails to understand this decreases the efficiency of the account. However, like every other corporate business, they are only concerned with saving money by hiring new hires every year and apply for certain tax schemes where they can pay less to the govt. 26) Overall quite a depressive atmosphere for agents who take calls and are micromanaged in depth for every little thing. Company should be renamed to Depressive Xpert Corporation. The company owns you as long as you're in your working hours. 27) Management encourages you to misreport your working hours on Replicon, especially if you're working weekend shift. Shamelessness and weak labour laws does not stop the company from taking advantage. 28) Depending on accounts that mandate work from office, they may or maynot be strict on cab delays. Unpredictable Bangalore traffic and personal delays are not accounted or entertained. Immense pressure goes to transport department to ensure exact login time....Read More
