Blue Team Specialist (Defensive Security Expert)

As a Blue Team Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Threat Monitoring : Continuously monitor systems, networks, and applications for potential vulnerabilities or attacks.
• Incident Response : Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents promptly to minimize impact.
• Threat Hunting : Proactively search for security threats within the environment to identify and neutralize them before they cause harm.
• Security Analysis : Analyze logs and alerts from security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Patch Management : Ensure timely updates and patches to applications, systems, and software to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Red Teams : Work closely with offensive security teams to simulate attacks and strengthen defenses.
• Compliance and Reporting : Ensure adherence to security policies and regulations while preparing detailed incident reports.
• Security Awareness Training : Educate employees on security best practices and ensure a culture of vigilance within the organization.

• Education : Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications (Preferred) :
  • CompTIA CySA+ , Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) , or Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) .
• Experience :
  • Freshers with a strong understanding of defensive security concepts and certifications are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or defensive roles is an advantage.
