Vulnerability Assessment Analyst

As a Vulnerability Assessment Analyst, you will:

• Vulnerability Scanning : Use industry-standard tools to conduct vulnerability scans on systems, networks, and applications.
• Threat Prioritization : Analyze scan results, assess the severity of vulnerabilities, and prioritize remediation based on risk.
• Reporting : Prepare detailed reports of identified vulnerabilities with actionable recommendations for mitigation.
• Collaborate with Teams : Work with IT, development, and security teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Patch Management : Assist in identifying and implementing patches or configuration changes to address vulnerabilities.
• Continuous Monitoring : Maintain a proactive approach to vulnerability management by scheduling regular scans and reviews.
• Research : Stay updated on emerging vulnerabilities, exploits, and patches to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST.

• Education : Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Certifications (Preferred) :
  • CompTIA Security+ , Certified Vulnerability Assessor (CVA) , or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) .
• Experience :
  • Freshers with strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
