Network Threat Analyst

As a Network Threat Analyst, your primary duties will include:

• Threat Monitoring: Continuously monitor network traffic and security alerts from intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, and other security devices.
• Threat Analysis: Analyze security events, logs, and data to detect and assess potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Incident Response: Respond to security incidents by conducting root cause analysis, mitigating threats, and providing recommendations for improving security posture.
• Threat Intelligence: Gather, analyze, and apply threat intelligence to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with relevant teams.
• Reporting: Create detailed reports on security incidents, threat trends, and mitigation actions, and present findings to management and stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT, network, and security teams to implement security measures, best practices, and incident response plans.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance monitoring capabilities.
