Job Description
As a Network Security Engineer at WN Infotech, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure to protect the organization's network systems. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding WN Infotech's digital assets by identifying security vulnerabilities, developing security protocols, and responding to security incidents.
- Design, implement, and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
- Monitor network traffic for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security enhancements.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security measures into network design and architecture.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and network protocols.
- Experience with network security technologies such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, and Fortinet.
- Familiarity with security assessment tools such as Nessus, Metasploit, and Wireshark.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot network security issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in network security administration or a related field.
- Experience with network security technologies in a large enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS is a plus.
