Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer, you will:

• System Hardening : Implement and maintain security measures to protect servers, networks, and endpoints.
• Threat Mitigation : Identify, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities across the organization s IT infrastructure.
• Incident Response : Respond to security incidents, investigate root causes, and implement preventative measures.
• Security Architecture : Assist in designing secure system architectures for applications and networks.
• Tool Deployment : Manage and monitor security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST.
• Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams, including developers and IT, to integrate security practices into workflows.
• Documentation : Create and maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and incident reports.

• Education : Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Certifications (Preferred) :
  • CompTIA Security+ , Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) , or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) .
• Experience :
  • Freshers with a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and certifications are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or related roles is an advantage.
