Key Responsibilities:
Education: only from IIM or ISB etc tier 1 /Premium college
- Marketplace Strategy: Developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for selling products on various marketplace platforms. This includes identifying target marketplaces, assessing competition, and setting growth objectives.
- Inventory and Pricing Management: Monitoring inventory levels across different marketplaces to ensure adequate stock availability and work with the Procurement and Supply Chain Team for the required actions.
Relationship Management (Marketplace & Clients):
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both marketplace account managers and key clients. Negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and identify opportunities for preferred placement or promotional activities. Schedule regular client check-ins to gather feedback and focus on upselling and cross-selling new channels and business opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams such as Key account management, Supply chain, Advertisement, and finance to ensure seamless integration of marketplace operations with overall business goals and processes.
- Revenue and Profitability Analysis: Monitoring and optimising sales to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Managing P&L for the Assigned Country: Creating and managing the complete P&L for the assigned country and driving the topline and bottom line and delivering them against the set targets for the quarter and year.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence: Staying informed about marketplace policies, guidelines, and best practices. Ensuring compliance with terms of service, product listing rules, and advertising policies to avoid penalties or account suspension.
- Continuous Improvement: Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and optimise performance metrics across all Teams.
Education: IIM or ISB etc tier 1
Mandatory Skills: E-com operations understanding end to end, Supply Chain, Warehouse Solutions, Amazon Marketplace, Amazon Ads, P&L.
You're the perfect candidate for this role if you:
- You have 15+ years of experience in e-commerce, supply chain, or operations, including 5+ years in a leadership role driving business growth.
- With 5+ years managing multiple marketplaces, you know how to optimise operations and strategies.
- Your 7+ years in General or Modern Trade gives you a solid understanding of trade channels and market dynamics.
- You've got strong e-commerce experience or deep knowledge of digital marketplaces.
- Preferred: Experience with FMCG and CPG brands-especially in healthcare, wellness, and beauty-is a big plus.
- You excel in P&L management, driving profitability and efficiency.
- You're passionate about growth, take ownership of projects, and thrive with an entrepreneurial mindset.
