HR Lead (TA Heavy)
We are looking for a HR Lead to manage day-to-day HR Operations, including employee relations and performance management, talent acquisition, while also driving strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement. You will be the primary point of contact for anything related to HR.
What will your job entail:
- Talent Acquisition: Drive end-to-end hiring process for tech and non-tech roles, including role analysis, hiring plan discussion with hiring managers, sourcing profiles internally, from job boards and staffing firms, negotiating job offers and compensation packages and employee onboarding. Drive contract closure and negotiation with staffing vendors for contractual hiring.
- Performance Management: Drive annual and mid-year performance management reviews.
- HR Policy and Process: Craft and update HR policies as and when required including but not limited to PoSH, Leave Policy, Compliance Policy, Appraisal Policy, Confidentiality Policy, etc. Drive the background verification process along with the operations team for new hires.
- Employee Engagement and Assimilation: Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, managers and leaders. Collaborate with various internal teams within the organization to provide right and timely support to the business/ employees. Conduct upward feedback surveys, execute engagement initiatives, pulse surveys, and feedback mechanisms that drive a positive employee experience.
- Grievance Redressal: Resolve complex employee relations issues, offering insights and managing operational aspects as needed.
- Strategic Initiatives: Facilitate change management initiatives and drive the adoption of new programs or policies.
- Coach leaders and managers to align HR strategy with business goals.
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in HR, preferably in a fast growth/startup environment. Strong preference for prior experience in early stage tech-led startup recruitment.
- Working knowledge of sourcing techniques including Boolean/X-Ray Search, research in recruitment and social media recruiting is a big plus
- Ability to act as a consultant and an advisor to understand issues, deep dive, and problem solve
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive tasks to closure without much supervision.
- Strong collaboration ski ls and proficiency in stakeholder management
- Good oral and written communication skills.
