The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth, and contributing to our overall business strategy.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective business strategies to attract new clients, expand market share and drive revenue growth in the Precision machining components.
2. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential markets, and customer needs.
3. Leverage technical knowledge to engage potential clients, address their needs, and propose suitable solutions.
4. Maintain a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, and use of CRM systems.
5. Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
6. Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
7. Prepare and present sales reports, including sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
8. Attend industry events and exhibitions to stay abreast of the latest industry trends, develop market intelligence, and generate leads.
Qualifications:
1. A diploma or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a business development role within the manufacturing industry, specifically CNC machining.
3. Proven track record of successful sales and business development, including cold calling.
4. In-depth knowledge of machining processes and the manufacturing industry.
5. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends and sales data.
8. Ability to travel as needed.
9. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a knack for closing deals.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address customer needs and concerns effectively.
