As we continue to expand, we are seeking a visionary Manufacturing Engineering Head – NPD to lead our New Product Development (NPD) initiatives and ensure seamless integration into production.

Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineering Head – NPD will be a cornerstone of our innovation and production strategy, bridging the gap between engineering design and manufacturing. This role demands a highly skilled and experienced professional with a proven track record in aerospace manufacturing, new product development, and advanced machining processes. You will lead a team of engineers to develop and implement robust manufacturing solutions for cutting-edge aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) process, from concept to production launch.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for precision aerospace components.
• Oversee CNC, VMC, and multi-axis machining operations, ensuring alignment with design specifications.
• Drive process planning, tooling design, and fixture development for new products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and operations, to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies, RFQ costing, and process validation for new projects.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process innovation.
• Provide technical leadership for the selection and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Train and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 15 to 25 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, with a focus on NPD and precision machining.
• Expertise in CNC, VMC, and multi-axis machining, including tooling and fixture design.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, PFMEA, and engineering documentation practices.
• Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.
• Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
