Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Quality Leadership:
  Develop and implement robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) in alignment with AS9100 standards to support organizational goals.
• Supplier and Vendor Quality Management:
  Ensure supplier compliance with aerospace quality standards such as Nadcap through regular audits and assessments.
• Dimensional and Mechanical Testing:
  Oversee dimensional metrology, welding inspection, and mechanical testing to ensure precision and compliance with specifications.
• Advanced Quality Tools:
  Utilize APQP, SPC, MSA, and Six Sigma methods to enhance process capabilities and reduce non-conformities.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Drive initiatives to lower Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and improve Process Capability (Cp, Cpk) across operations.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  Lead the preparation and review of quality documentation, including First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP, and DPPM reports.
• Team Leadership:
  Mentor and guide a team of Quality Control Inspectors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Data-Driven Decision Making:
  Leverage tools like SAP and MS Office to track KPIs, identify trends, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Customer Interaction:
  Serve as the key liaison for customer quality audits and inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in quality management, with at least 5 years in the aerospace sector.
• Technical Proficiency:
• AS9100, Nadcap compliance expertise.
• Proficient in tools such as SPC, APQP, MSA, and Process Capability Studies (Cp, Cpk).
• Skilled in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T), CMM Inspection, and welding inspection.
• Familiarity with SAP and advanced MS Office applications.
• Certifications: Lead Auditor certification in AS9100 or ISO 9001. Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Problem-Solving Expertise: Demonstrated capability in root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
