Job Description
- Event Planning and Execution: Plan, organize and execute a variety of events including conferences, trade shows, product launches, webinars and internal company events.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all events are delivered within budget constraints.
- Vendor Coordination: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, including venues, catering services, audiovisual providers and other third-party suppliers.
- Marketing and Promotion: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials for events. Ensure maximum attendance and engagement through targeted marketing campaigns.
- Logistics Management: Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, transportation, accommodation, registration processes and on-site management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand event objectives and deliver events that meet or exceed expectations.
- Post Event Analysis: Conduct post event evaluations to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Provide detailed reports and recommendations for future events.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of event coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure successful event delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A graduate or postgraduate, preferably with an MBA from a reputed institute with 4 to 8 years of experience in diverse aspects of event management, including organizing national and international events and be part of that.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
