About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of high-quality software products, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders. You will leverage your technical expertise and project management skills to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement. You will be a key driver in translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring the product meets both customer needs and business objectives.
Responsibilities :
Product Strategy & Planning :
- Define Product Vision & Roadmap : Collaborate with senior management to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with overall business goals.
- Market Research & Analysis : Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Requirements Gathering & Prioritization : Gather and analyze user requirements, translate them into detailed product specifications, and prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Define Project Scope & Goals : Clearly define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared understanding.
Product Development & Execution :
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams : Lead and motivate cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA) to deliver high-quality software products within deadlines.
- Agile Project Management : Employ Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to manage the product development lifecycle, ensuring iterative development and continuous improvement.
- Create & Maintain Project Documentation : Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Manage Project Plans & Timelines : Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and roadmaps, tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery.
- Facilitate Communication & Collaboration : Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Risk Management : Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, developing contingency plans to ensure project success.
- Conduct Project Status Meetings : Conduct regular project status meetings, providing clear and concise updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure Quality Assurance : Oversee the quality assurance process, ensuring that product deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Product Testing & Validation : Participate in product testing, including functional, usability, and performance testing, to ensure product quality and stability.
- Maintain Product Quality : Take ownership of product quality through regular testing, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Ensure adherence to best practices : Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.
Technical Expertise & Collaboration :
- Technical Understanding : Possess a strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and mobile technologies (Android, iOS) to effectively communicate with developers and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Technical Communication : Translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration with Engineering : Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with product requirements.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Manager, or Project Manager, with a track record of delivering software products on time and within budget.
- Agile Expertise : Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and web/mobile technologies.
- Project Management Skills : Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Tools Proficiency : Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
