About the Role:

The Director of Brand Marketing at Savanna HR will be a key leader in shaping and executing our brand strategy.

This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a proven track record of building and scaling successful B2B brands, ideally within the HR tech or SaaS space.

You will be responsible for defining Savanna HR's brand vision, messaging, and overall identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.

This is a high-impact opportunity to elevate our brand presence, drive customer engagement, and contribute significantly to our company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy Development:

- Define and champion Savanna HR's mission, vision, and values, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

- Develop a comprehensive brand positioning strategy that differentiates Savanna HR from competitors in the dynamic HR tech market.

- Create and maintain brand guidelines that ensure consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.

- Conduct regular brand audits to assess brand health and identify areas for improvement.

Market Research and Insights:

- Conduct thorough market research to understand target audience needs, preferences, and pain points (HR professionals, business leaders, etc.

- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to inform brand strategy and identify opportunities.

- Leverage customer feedback and data analytics to refine branding efforts and optimize campaigns.

Brand Messaging and Communication:

- Develop compelling and consistent brand messaging that resonates with target audiences and effectively communicates our value proposition.

- Craft engaging narratives that showcase the impact of Savanna HR's solutions on businesses and their employees.

- Oversee the development of marketing collateral, website content, and other brand assets.

Content and Creative Oversight:

- Collaborate with content and creative teams to produce high-quality content (blog posts, white papers, case studies, videos, social media updates) that aligns with brand messaging and target audience interests.

- Ensure brand consistency in visual identity, tone, and style across all content and creative assets.

- Provide creative direction and feedback to ensure brand alignment.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

- Work closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align branding efforts with product launches, promotional campaigns, and lead generation strategies.

- Collaborate on integrated marketing campaigns that leverage multiple channels to maximize impact.

- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure brand alignment and effective execution.

Digital Marketing and Social Media:

- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, paid advertising, social media marketing, and email marketing, to build brand awareness and drive engagement.

- Develop and execute social media strategies that build a strong online presence and foster a vibrant community of HR professionals.

- Monitor social media channels and engage with audiences to build brand loyalty and address concerns.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure brand effectiveness and track progress towards goals.

- Analyze data and generate reports on brand performance, campaign ROI, and other relevant metrics.

- Use data-driven insights to optimize future branding initiatives and maximize impact.

Partnerships and Thought Leadership:

- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with HR industry organizations, influencers, and thought leaders to enhance brand credibility and reach.

- Represent Savanna HR at industry events, conferences, and webinars to build brand awareness and establish thought leadership.

- Contribute to industry conversations and share insights on relevant topics.

Skills Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.

- 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, with a proven track record of building and scaling successful B2B brands, preferably in the SaaS or HR tech industry.

- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into effective brand strategies.

- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

- Creative vision and a passion for developing innovative and engaging campaigns.

- Deep understanding of digital marketing and social media best practices.

- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Collaborative and team-oriented approach.

- Passion for the HR tech space and a desire to make a positive impact on the world of work
