Brand Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy Development:
- Define the brand's mission, vision, and values in alignment with the company's overall goals.
- Develop a compelling brand positioning strategy that differentiates the edtech company from competitors.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand the target audience (students, educators, parents, institutions) and their evolving needs.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to refine branding efforts.
Brand Messaging and Communication:
- Create compelling and clear messaging for the brand across all channels (social media, website, ads, email, etc.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the brand's value proposition and resonate with the target audience.
- Oversee all aspects of brand communication, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and visual identity.
Content and Creative Oversight:
- Collaborate with content teams to produce high-quality blog posts, videos, webinars, and other content that showcases the company's expertise in education technology.
- Guide the development of creative assets such as brand guidelines, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and channels.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align branding efforts with product launches, promotional campaigns, and user acquisition strategies.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives.
Digital Marketing and Social Media:
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including SEO, paid advertising, and social media campaigns.
- Build a strong online presence for the brand and engage with the target audience on relevant platforms (e., LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube).
- Monitor and analyze key metrics to track the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as brand awareness, customer retention, and campaign ROI.
- Analyze data and provide insights to inform future branding initiatives and optimize marketing spend.
Partnerships and Thought Leadership:
- Foster partnerships with educational institutions, industry experts, and influencers to enhance the brand's credibility and visibility.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to build thought leadership.
Skills Required:
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align branding with overall business goals and develop long-term strategies.
- Creative Vision: Proven ability to develop innovative and engaging brand campaigns and creative assets.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Communication and Storytelling: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling brand narratives.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools and the ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in the edtech industry is highly preferred
