Purchase Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Purchasing Specialist to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing electrical components and equipment for our company. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and market trends to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.

Purchasing:

• Prepare and process purchase orders for electrical components and equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory management team.

Negotiation:

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.
• Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers.

Market Analysis:

• Stay updated with market trends and pricing for electrical components.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all purchased electrical components meet quality standards and specifications.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in purchasing electrical components or equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
