Brand Protection/Anticounterfeiting & IPR

Job Description:

Anti-Counterfeit Raid Activity Management

• Conducting analysis on sales data and pharma secure data to identify top counterfeit areas affected.
• Work closely with external councils in filing litigation cases, ensuring all required evidence and supporting documents are provided
• Investigate the leads and engage external Raid Agencies ensuring accurate and timely investigations and Liaise them to conduct raids based on verified Targets and take necessary actions.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings between lawyers, the Investigators and Conducting steps in consultation with management as may be warranted to ensure effectiveness of raids.
• Assisting Investigation team in preparing the strategy, monitoring the enforcement activities and Ensure smooth execution of raids by aligning all required resources.
• Reviewing the raid agencies to be appointed, monitoring their onboarding formalities, monitoring their performance, scrutinizing, and analyzing the information shared (cross checking).
• Undertaking mapping of raid data from agency reports and FIR copies with the pharma secure and sales data. Examine the reports, documents and ensure authenticity and accuracy.
• Track and document case progress, ensuring all legal steps are completed efficiently. Monitor the progress of each counterfeit case until full closure. Maintain comprehensive documentation for internal records and compliance purposes. 
• Prepare monthly / quarterly reports in form of dashboard demonstrating the penetration of counterfeit Polycab product wise / city wise / other relevant demography wise.
• Conducting post raid survey and preparing impact analysis reports, monthly raid done reports to share with management.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with Raid Agencies, Legal Teams, and Internal Stakeholders to ensure all necessary actions are completed.
• Handle the Brand Protection/Anti-Counterfeit related Projects.

Trademark & IPR Protection:

• Manage trademark, design, patent, and copyright registrations.
• Collaborate with external councils for filing registration, oppositions, counterstatements and handle litigation matters related to IPR.
• Maintain IPR records, Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Review agreements for IPR clauses and ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Regular follow up with accounts team for closure of payment activity.
• Support legal team as and when required Furnish/ Renew LOA/POA/ Contracts to vendors & lawyer

Requirements, Skills & Competencies

• Educational Qualification and Experience
• Bachelors degree in law, Business, or a related field (LLB preferred).
• 3-4 years’ work experience
• Functional Skills
• Strong coordination, documentation, and legal compliance skills.
• Ability to work with external legal teams and enforcement agencies.
• Efficient in MS Office for Reports Generations and legal documentation.
• Communication skills with Excellent English
