Sales Consultant - Leading Med-Tech Firm - Contractual
- Our client, a leading Med-Tech company, is seeking a Sales Excellence Consultant to enhance sales productivity, target setting, incentive structures, and governance frameworks.
- The role requires an expert with a med-tech or pharma background, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in salesforce optimization for hospital customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop structured target-setting models based on historic growth and city-level market potential
- Define and implement productivity metrics (e.g., daily call targets, ideal beat plans)
- Establish a data-driven review cadence, ensuring regular tracking of KPIs and governance standards
- Design an incentive structure that aligns with business goals and reduces attrition
- Collaborate with sales teams across government tenders, key accounts, and trade channels (80% of business)
- Analyze and optimize sales operations, ensuring process efficiency and long-term sustainability
- Work closely with leadership and field teams to implement best practices and drive change
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce Excellence, Sales Operations, or Commercial Strategy
- Prior experience in med-tech, pharma, or healthcare salesforce transformation
- Proven expertise in sales target modeling, KPI tracking, and governance implementation
- Strong understanding of hospital sales dynamics and customer engagement strategies
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Sales, or a relevant field.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and change management skills
Mandatory Skills:
- Deep expertise in salesforce optimization and productivity metrics
- Strong background in incentive structuring and performance governance
- Ability to analyze large data sets and derive actionable insights
- Experience working with hospital customer segments and government tenders
- This is a 9-12-month contractual role with a hybrid setup in Bangalore.
