Strategy Consultant - Corporate Hospitals - Consulting Firm - Contractual (10-15 yrs)

Our client, a global consulting firm, is embarking on a project to build a new state-of-the-art hospital. This initiative aims to establish a world-class healthcare facility with cutting-edge services, advanced clinical planning, and an efficient operating model

To support this initiative, the client is looking to onboard a Strategy Consultant with a strong background in corporate hospitals. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of clinical and administrative expertise, preferably as a doctor turned business administrator from reputed institutes

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning and Business Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for setting up the hospital, ensuring alignment with the client's vision and long-term goals

- Clinical Service Mix Design: Identify and recommend the optimal mix of clinical services, keeping in mind market demand and industry benchmarks

- Manpower Planning and Department Structuring: Plan and design the organizational structure, including recruitment and training strategies for clinical and non-clinical staff

- Partnerships and Collaboration: Identify and build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including medical equipment suppliers, technology providers, and healthcare partners

- Support for Hospital Design: Collaborate with architects and design teams to ensure the hospital's physical space aligns with operational and clinical requirements

- Operating Model Development: Establish efficient workflows, SOPs, and governance structures to ensure seamless operations upon launch

- Continuous Monitoring and Improvement: Develop frameworks for tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions during the hospital setup process

Your Background:

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a strategy and administration role, within corporate hospitals

- Strong educational background, with preference for candidates who are doctors by education and have transitioned into business administration from reputed institutes

- Proven experience in activities such as clinical planning, hospital operations, manpower planning, and stakeholder management

- Familiarity with working on healthcare infrastructure projects or new hospital setups

- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and engage with senior stakeholders effectively

This is a contractual role with an initial duration of 6 months (extendable). This role is based in Mumbai, with a preference for Mumbai-based candidates. However, candidates from Delhi, Pune, or Bangalore who can work from their respective cities are also welcome to apply
