Our client, a global consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Regional Head / Zonal Head - Sales & Distribution to lead sales strategy and execution across key regions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales, managing distribution networks, and expanding market presence in industries like paints, adhesives, lubricants, tires, electricals, and building materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
- Expand and optimize distribution networks for enhanced market penetration.
- Lead and manage sales teams, ensuring high performance and goal achievement.
- Build and strengthen relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine sales approaches.
- Ensure effective sales forecasting, planning, and execution to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales with business objectives.
- Drive process improvements and innovations in sales and distribution strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of sales and revenue targets.
- Expansion and optimization of distribution networks.
- Market share growth in assigned regions.
- Team performance and productivity improvements.
- Customer and channel partner satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 7-12 years of experience in sales, distribution, and channel management.
- Prior experience in companies like paints, adhesives, lubricants, tires, electricals, and building materials is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in sales strategy, distributor management, and regional market expansion.
- Bachelor's or master's degree from a reputed institute (open to all if the experience is relevant).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making skills.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Expertise in sales strategy development and execution.
- Experience in channel and distributor management.
- Strong market analysis and competitor benchmarking skills.
- Ability to drive large sales teams and foster a high-performance culture.
This is a 12-month contractual opportunity with travel included but not limited to Mumbai, Kolkata, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana.
