Roles and Responsibilities

• A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a critical role in managing a company's overall financial & accounting health and strategic direction.
• Has worked as a CFO for at least 4 years in any listed manufacturing industry, understanding its challenges and opportunities.
• New project evaluation : Assess the financial feasibility, strategic alignment, and risks of proposed initiatives through detailed financial modeling, due diligence and ROI analysis.

• Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis, enabling effective management of the company's finances.
• Strategic Planning: Ability to develop long-term financial strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth.
• Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks to protect the company's assets and ensure stability.
• Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Manage corporate finance functions, including treasury, fund raising, investor relations, mergers & acquisitions, project financing, and project funding.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring the organization adheres to legal standards.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Expertise in creating and managing budgets, as well as developing accurate financial forecasts to guide decision-making.

• Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and mentor finance & accounts teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

• Negotiation Skills: Experience negotiating financial agreements and contracts to optimize the companys financial position.

• Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software and systems, including ERP systems and data analytics tools, to enhance financial reporting and analysis.

• Mergers and Acquisitions Expertise: Understanding of M&A processes, valuation, and integration strategies to support growth initiatives.

• Ethical Judgement: Strong commitment to ethical financial practices and corporate governance, ensuring transparency and integrity in financial reporting.

• Legal & Secretarial Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate law, governance, and compliance.

• Fund raising & Investor Banking : Excel in financial strategy and relationship management to effectively navigate fundraising processes and investor banking, ensuring clear communication of the company's vision and value to attract and secure investment.

• Handling Pre & Post IPO : Expertise in financial modeling and regulatory compliance to navigate the complexities of Pre-IPO preparations and ensure effective communication of the company's value proposition to investors during and after the IPO process.

• Internal & External Audit : Strong financial acumen and analytical skills to effectively oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and addressing risk management while fostering clear communication with stakeholders.

• Taxation : Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations to optimize the company’s tax strategy, ensure compliance, and identify opportunities for tax savings and efficient financial planning.
  
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the organization.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain relationships with lenders/investors.
  
• Develop strategic plans for fundraising initiatives (IPO/FPO) to support business growth.
  
• Provide guidance on financial matters to senior management team members.
