Senior Devops Engineer

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation roles. Proven track record of managing scalable and secure environments.
• Proven track record of managing scalable and secure environments across AWS, Azure, and on-premises infrastructures.
• Docker & Kubernetes: Expert-level experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration, including cluster management, scaling, and security best practices.
• Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, VPC, IAM, Lambda) and other public cloud offerings. Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure is a plus.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Extensive experience with Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning, managing state, and working with Terragrunt for multi-environment management.
• Configuration Management: Deep knowledge of Ansible for automating system configuration, patching, and deployment processes.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Strong expertise in designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools.
• Helm: Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes-based application deployments and creating reusable Helm charts.
• Linux Systems: Proficiency in Linux systems administration, shell scripting, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Version Control: Proficient in using Git for source control management, collaborating on pull requests, and ensuring code integrity.
• Scripting and Automation: Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate tasks and improve infrastructure workflows.
• Monitoring & Logging: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK Stack for system observability.
• Security Awareness: Experience implementing security practices such as role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, IAM, and vulnerability management.
• English Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical topics in a simple and effective manner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications are highly desirable.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile development environments with continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Networking: Understanding of networking concepts such as VPC, load balancing, and DNS, especially in hybrid cloud environments.
• Mentorship: Prior experience in mentoring junior engineers and guiding teams on DevOps best practices.
