DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (5-10 yrs)

Job Title : DevOps Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, systems administration, and automation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our infrastructure, enhancing our CI/CD pipelines, and improving the efficiency of our development processes.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.

2. Collaborate with software development, QA, and IT operations teams to streamline product delivery workflows.

3. Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

4. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of production and pre-production environments.

5. Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

6. Ensure security, performance, and compliance best practices across systems and applications.

7. Implement containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

8. Write scripts in Bash, Python, or other languages to automate tasks and enhance operational workflows.

9. Develop and maintain system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

10. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve software reliability and deployment strategies.

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in Linux/Unix and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Understanding of system monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

- Strong version control skills using Git.

- Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- Certifications : AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker/Kubernetes certifications, or equivalent.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Exposure to microservices architecture and serverless computing.
