Job Summary :
As a DevOps -SME, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement cutting-edge solutions that ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. Your expertise in automating processes, enhancing system performance, and maintaining high availability will be critical to the success of our projects. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable software delivery.
- Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Oversee the orchestration and management of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and DevSecOps principles across all stages of the software development lifecycle, including infrastructure security, data protection, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain observability frameworks, including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, to ensure system health, performance, and security.
- Integrate GitOps practices for version-controlled, automated infrastructure and application management.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in leading DevOps teams and managing complex cloud infrastructure projects with a focus on security and automation.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI) with an emphasis on secure pipelines.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and managing clusters in production environments, with security best practices.
- Solid understanding of security principles and DevSecOps practices, particularly in cloud and containerized environments.
- Proficiency in GitOps and related tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux) for automated, secure infrastructure and application management.
- Expertise in observability tools and practices, including monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), logging (e.g., ELK stack), and alerting systems.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible), with a focus on security and compliance.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, designing scalable and maintainable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Experience with multi-cloud strategies, hybrid cloud environments, and cloud migration projects, including data migration, networking, and security considerations.
- Proficiency in architecting highly available and fault-tolerant systems, implementing disaster recovery strategies, and designing for performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and storage in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex, security-related issues across multiple environments.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team towards secure, high-performance delivery.
