Role and Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Admin, you will be placed at the customer location and will be responsible for managing the company's cloud computing environment. This includes configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, optimizing resource utilization, and providing access control to cloud services. You will act as the architect of the cloud environment by provisioning and managing various cloud resources like virtual machines, storage, and networks based on organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the cloud infrastructure by overseeing application architecture and configuring and deploying applications in the cloud.
- Manage and support all network infrastructure and connections between service providers and clients.
- Provide hands-on support for cloud services for both AWS and Azure, addressing technical issues and optimizing system performance.
- Monitor, analyze, and ensure the health, security, and efficiency of applications hosted on cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and troubleshoot cloud solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles.
- Handle BAU activities such as availability monitoring, administration, performance monitoring and tuning, and disk space management for compute instances.
- Infra provisioning/deprovisioning, including instances for compute, storage, and networking.
- Log cases with Cloud Service Providers and coordinate for resolutions.
- Perform data backup and archiving in consultation with customers.
- Ensure cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC, HIPAA, etc.).
- Work with hybrid cloud solutions and multi-cloud strategies.
- Administer Windows and Linux systems in a cloud environment.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Minimum Experience: 5+ Years (L3 Level)
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, Transit Gateway, VPC, CloudWatch, ALB, Firewall, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Azure services (VMs, Azure AD, Azure Storage, Entra ID, VNet Load Balancer, Firewall, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
- Experience in implementing and managing operating systems/applications in enterprise cloud computing environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and IAM policies.
- Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and multi-cloud strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create detailed technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud service provider case logging and coordination.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Ability to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Experience strategizing and executing the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud.
- Providing training to users on effectively utilizing cloud services and applications.
- Gathering insights and analyzing cloud usage trends.
- Efficient use of keyboard shortcuts and collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with IT teams and end-users.
