AWS DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines, Ansible, Python, Terraform, CloudFormation Templates (CFT), and Git. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our development and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement Infrastructure: Develop and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and CloudFormation Templates.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerized applications and ensure efficient orchestration.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar to automate the software release process.
• Configuration Management: Use Ansible for configuration management and automation of infrastructure tasks.
• Scripting and Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of the infrastructure.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to integrate their changes and ensure the stability of the system.
• Security: Ensure the security and integrity of cloud-based applications and data by implementing best practices and security measures.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 6+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
• Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Containerization: Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Configuration Management: Strong knowledge of Ansible.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation Templates.
• Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certifications.
• Additional Tools: Experience with other DevOps tools and technologies.
