HR & IR

Job Purpose:HR & IR will be responsible for handling aspects of human resources management and industrial relations within the plant. This includes managing employee relations, labor law compliance and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations in alignment with company policies and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:1. Industrial Relations:

• Act as a liaison between management and employees to resolve issues and maintain a harmonious work environment.
• Manage labor relations, including negotiations and settlements of grievances, disputes, and other employee concerns.
• Handle disciplinary matters, including conducting investigations, and managing the entire process of hearings and actions as per company policy and labor laws.
• Maintain positive relationships with labor and workers to ensure mutual cooperation and smooth industrial operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, including the Industrial Disputes Act, Factories Act, and others as applicable.

2. Employee Engagement & Welfare:

• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale, productivity, and retention.
• Oversee employee welfare programs, such as health and safety initiatives, insurance, medical benefits, and other welfare schemes.

3. HR Policies & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements under labor laws, including wages, social security benefits, working hours, etc.
• Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
• Maintain HR records, including employee data, attendance, and leave records.

7. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance:

• Collaborate with the safety department to ensure that HR activities adhere to HSE guidelines.
• Promote a safe working environment by monitoring and advising on safety practices and employee compliance with the plants health and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:
• A Bachelor's or Masters degree in HR/ MSW
• Additional qualifications in labor law or industrial relations are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3–7 years of experience in HR and Industrial Relations, preferably in a manufacturing Industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, industrial relations practices, and compliance regulations.
