About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Sales and Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence across India.
- This is a leadership role requiring a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in sales management, business development, and team leadership.
- The ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep industry knowledge, exceptional influencing and advisory skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
- You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and providing solutions to complex business challenges.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate deep knowledge and experience in the relevant industry/sector, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.
- Effectively influence key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive consensus and achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Engage and collaborate effectively with multiple teams (e. , marketing, product development, operations) to ensure alignment and achieve shared goals.
- Take ownership of team decisions and facilitate effective communication across departments.
- Proactively identify and analyze business area problems, developing and implementing effective solutions that can be applied across multiple teams.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Foster a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer acquisition.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies and improve team performance.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Network actively within the industry to identify potential business opportunities.
- Effectively manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely progression of deals.
- Implement best practices for pipeline management and reporting.
- Leverage sales enablement tools and resources to improve sales team effectiveness and efficiency.
