Role Overview
We seek a dynamic and data-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead a team of 30 inside sales agents/BDRs targeting SMB companies across India. This role involves managing the end-to-end customer acquisition process, stabilizing new accounts, and driving team performance to meet revenue and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition Management:
Oversee the 6090-day customer acquisition cycle from lead generation to account stabilization.
Ensure smooth handovers between acquisition and account management teams.
Work with internal teams to resolve onboarding challenges and ensure client satisfaction.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution:
Design and implement sales strategies targeting SMBs across India.
Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation efforts and improve conversion rates.
Track and optimize each stage of the sales cycle to reduce acquisition time and increase efficiency.
3. Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 30 inside sales agents.
Create a high-performing sales culture focused on accountability and results.
Conduct regular one-on-one coaching, team meetings, and performance reviews.
4. Data & Performance Metrics:
Drive key metrics including:
Monthly Lead-to-Meeting Conversion: Target 30% or higher.
Meeting-to-Deal Conversion: Maintain at least 25%.
Average Sales Cycle: Ensure completion within 60–90 days.
Revenue Contribution: Achieve monthly team revenue targets of ₹30 Crore.
Leverage CRM tools and analytics dashboards to monitor team performance and identify improvement areas.
5. Client Engagement:
Guide the team to deliver compelling virtual pitches and close deals effectively.
Step in for complex or high-value negotiations to secure key accounts.
Ensure new accounts are stabilized and nurtured during the onboarding phase.
6. Training & Development:
Provide ongoing training in areas such as SaaS sales techniques, objection handling, and value-driven selling.
Keep the team updated on product enhancements and industry trends.
Requirements
Experience:
8+ years in inside sales/SaaS BD/B2B Pre-Sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Proven success in managing sales cycles of 60–90 days and stabilizing new customer accounts.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
Data-driven decision-making with expertise in CRM platforms (e.g., LeadSquared, Salesforce, Zoho).
Excellent in Outbound Communication, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and MS Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
