Deputy Manager -Operation and Maintenance

Role & responsibilities

1. Safety & Workplace Management:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.

- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to minimize workplace hazards.

- Implement and monitor safety programs and initiatives.

2. Daily Work Management:

- Oversee daily operations and coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth production flows.

- Develop and manage daily work schedules for maintenance and operational staff.

- Track performance metrics and address operational challenges proactively.

3. Continuous Improvement:

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

- Lead initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.

- Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to achieve operational excellence.

4. Asset Care & Equipment Reliability:

- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of all manufacturing equipment.

- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

- Conduct root cause analyses for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

5. Process Care & Quality:

- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Collaborate with quality assurance personnel to resolve quality issues and uphold product integrity.

- Implement quality control measures and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

6. Customer Centricity:

- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to understand customer needs and expectations.

- Address customer complaints and feedback proactively to enhance service levels.

7. Capability Building & People Engagement:

- Lead, mentor, and engage the operations and maintenance teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.

- Conduct training sessions to build technical capabilities and promote a positive workplace culture.

- Foster teamwork and encourage open communication among team members.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Operations and maintenance at our copper tube manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will lead the operational and maintenance functions to ensure efficient production processes, uphold safety standards, enhance equipment reliability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
