Assistant Manager Production - Pune Location

Job Summary: As a Production Incharge in the Automobile Industry, he will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality automotive components. He will lead a team of production personnel, coordinate with various departments, and implement strategies to meet production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Scheduling: - Develop production schedules, considering factors such as resource availability, production capacity, and customer demand. - Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to meet deadlines and customer requirements.

2. Team Leadership: - Supervise and lead a team of production staffs, Technicians & Trainees - Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure team members meet performance targets and adhere to company policies.

3. Quality Control : -Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet management and customer standards -Conduct regular quality checks and address any deviations from quality standards.

4. Process Improvement: - Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in the production process. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and cost-saving measures.

5. Safety and Compliance-Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards. -Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety awareness.

6. Inventory Management : -Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that adequate materials and components are available for production. -Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels.

7. Reporting and Documentation :-Generate production reports and performance metrics to track progress towards production goals. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to production processes and procedures.

8. Communication and Collaboration: -Faster effective communication between production, Maintenance, quality control, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any production-related issues or challenges.

9. Cost Control:-Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety standards. -Evaluate and optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity.
