Senior Manager

Role & responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager Accounts to lead financial operations in a dynamic manufacturing industry environment. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of 15 years in accounting, strong expertise in SAP FI module, and a willingness to travel to Trichy - Manaparai for 10 to 15 days a month. This position will be based in Chennai for the remaining working days. The role demands financial leadership, compliance expertise, and hands-on management of key accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee the entire accounting and financial management functions.

2. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

3. Implement and manage SAP FI module for robust financial control, automation, and reporting.

4. Drive compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory financial regulations.

5. Monitor working capital, cash flow, and cost control measures for optimal financial efficiency.

6. Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for better decision-making.

7. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth financial audits.

8. Work closely with the manufacturing unit in Trichy - Manaparai to ensure seamless financial operations.

9. Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and business plans.

Mentor and develop the finance team to enhance their technical and analytical capabilities.

Required Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong command over SAP FI module and its practical application in financial operations.

2. In-depth expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, cost control, and audit management.

3. Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, understanding its financial nuances.

4. Proficiency in statutory compliance, tax laws, and corporate financial governance.

5. Leadership and team management capabilities to drive a high-performance accounting team.

6. Analytical mind set and problem-solving skills to manage complex financial challenges.

7. Willingness to travel to Trichy - Manaparai for 10 to 15 days per month as per business needs.

8. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

a) Educational Qualification M.Com., CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter)
