Technician - Solar O&M

Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledge in Solar O&M activity including operation, maintenance, repair, and monitoring of MMS, PV Modules, Strings, SCB, SMB, PV Invertor, RMU, UPS & Batteries, C&R Panels, RTCC Panels, SCADA System and associated equipment.
• Carry out regular maintenance activities, monitored plant performance, and identified areas for improvement to optimize plant performance.
• Carry out of Preventive, Predictive, Proactive, Productive and Breakdown Maintenances as per safety and quality guidelines.
• Monitoring the performance of all solar equipments, analyzing and identifying opportunities to optimize plant performance is an important aspects of the role.
• Preparing daily generation reports and analyzing data to identify and areas for improvement. By analyzing the data, you were able to optimize plant performance, reduce downtime and increase power generation, resulting in improved efficiency and cost savings.
• Attending breakdown in both AC and DC side and also monitoring entire plants
• Transformer major testing methods like Insulation resistance, Winding resistance, Magnetizing current test, Magnetic balance test, Voltage Ratio test, Transformer Turns Ratio test, Vector group test, Short Circuit test.
• Conduct regular inspections, maintenance and testing of low-tension (LT) and high-tension (HT) panels and switchgear to ensure working conditions.
• Maintain all reports and records of all operation and maintenance activities on the site.

Desired Candidate Profile

• We are looking for a well-experienced in electrical engineering with substation and ground mounted solar system.
• Work experience in O&M Planning and execution.
