Job Overview:
Fiducia Accounting Services is seeking an experienced Sr. Accounts Manager for our UK Accounting team. The role involves overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and compliance with UK standards. This position requires exceptional leadership and accounting skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. The Sr. The manager will play a critical role in strategic planning and decision-making processes, providing key financial insights to the leadership team. They will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Implement and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial
integrity.
2- Drive efficient monthly closing and reporting processes, providing accurate and timely
insights.
3- Lead the financial management for our entities in the UK, fostering seamless
collaboration across borders - probably needs to come out.
4- Develop and execute sound financial strategies and plans that align with business
objectives.
5-Monitor financial performance, conduct audits, and liaise with internal/external
stakeholders that include seasoned CEO/CFO/Founders/Auditors/Tax accountants.
6- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including filing financial
reports and advising management.
7-Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports for management review, adhering to
stringent standards for consolidated financial statements.
8-Balance financial assets and liabilities through meticulous journal entries aligned with UK
Compliance.
9-Reconcile various source systems with the General Ledger, identifying and resolving
discrepancies.
10- Manage asset acquisition and capitalization processes.
11-Respond to queries from the group team promptly and effectively.
12-Work with highly competitive teams on multiple clients/projects.
13- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to develop
accurate and achievable financial plans.
14-Utilize historical data, market trends, and business insights to prepare comprehensive
budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in accounting (M.COM, MBA), Finance, or a related field. A
professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
Experience: Must have a minimum of 7-10 years of accounting experience with the KPO
Industry, with at least 6 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Office
Suite, particularly Excel.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS and UK tax regulations is essential.
Soft Skills: Must have Excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership, and
interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and
organizational skills.
Other Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong ethical
standards, integrity, and decision-making skills.
