Assistant Manager -Food and Beverage Services

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager F&B Services will oversee the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, smooth service operations, and high standards of quality and hygiene. The role requires strong leadership, operational efficiency, and guest management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Operations & Service Excellence:

• Supervise F&B service operations across restaurants, banquets, and lounges.
• Ensure smooth service flow, prompt guest assistance, and adherence to SOPs.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards as per hotel policies.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.

✅ Team Management & Training:

• Lead and motivate the F&B service team, ensuring high performance and discipline.
• Conduct training programs for staff on hospitality etiquette, service standards, and safety procedures.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance reviews.

✅ Sales & Revenue Optimization:

• Support in achieving sales targets through upselling and promotions.
• Work closely with the sales team to coordinate banquets and special events.
• Monitor food & beverage costs and suggest cost-saving measures.

✅ Inventory & Compliance:

• Ensure adequate stock of F&B supplies, liaising with the purchase team.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and maintain necessary documentation.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Bachelors degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in F&B service, preferably in a 4/5-star hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent guest handling and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food & beverage trends and industry best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic MS Office tools.
