Opening For the position of Purchase Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Identification of all requirements in requisition for purchase issued by maintenance team.
• Maintain the BOQ of engineering store as per standards.
• Receiving the price quotations. (competitive quotes).
• Prepare schedule of rate comparison.
• Establish delivery terms, time and stages of inspection for the supply with maintenance department head.
• Ensure that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements.
• Negotiate the best payment terms and contract conditions.
• Issuance of Purchase order and tracking of delivery of items as per schedule.
• Handle Delivery, inspection of items and MRN preparation with help of store keeper.
• Storage and handling on site, prior to use, during installation and commissioning and
• Keep updated with market developments.
• Arrange and participate in meetings between suppliers and maintenance head.

Skills Required

• Strong data analysis skills
• Expertise in MS Office, especially Excel
• Understanding of technical schematics
• Knowledge of quality control standards for engineering items.
• Strong negotiation capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure .

The Job location is Pune - Hadapsar Industrial Area
