Purchase Engineer for Machine Manufacturing Industry

1. Procurement of Standard & Non Standard items like
1. Pneumatic/ Mechanical/ Electronic components
2. Raw materials of Brass/ Non-Ferrous alloys
3. Hand Tools / Q.C. Instruments
4. Consumable items
5. Stationery / Printing / Packaging
6. Imports
2. Establish & Maintain effective Vendor Data base.
3. On- time procurement. Tracking & effective follow up of procurement activities to get the items as per requirements and within specified time requirements
4. Preparation of Purchase Orders, scrutiny of quotes & Comparison Statement. Purchase Related data-entry in system.
5. Preparing payment schedules to vendors
6. Daily Work Management and co-ordination with internal user departments, Stores and Manufacturing

Preferred candidate profile

The candidate should have :

• good communication skills in Hindi, English and Kannada
• worked in a manufacturing unit
• have a working knowledge of commercial terms and aspects of purchase like Govt. Taxation, Transportation, legal aspect etc.
