Purchase Manager

Job Summary:
The Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing the inventory of raw materials, equipment, and services required for the factory's spinning, sizing, weaving, and dyeing finishing units. The role requires ensuring timely delivery of materials, maintaining supplier relationships, and optimizing cost efficiencies without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies for all materials, machinery, and tools used in the factory.
• Forecast future purchasing needs based on production schedules and budget constraints.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
• Build strong supplier relationships and manage contracts to ensure the timely supply of materials.
• Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages and overstock situations.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and avoid discrepancies.
• Monitor and control purchasing budgets, seeking cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
• Ensure that all procured materials meet the factory's quality standards and specifications.
• Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier agreements, and inventory reports.
• Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and vendor performance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in procurement, preferably in the textile industry with exposure to spinning, sizing, weaving, and dyeing operations.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
