Purchase Engineer (ONLY Mumbai)

Purchase Executive (Only MUMBAI)

What Youll Do:

✅ Buying Materials & Equipment

• Find and select the right suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Purchase cables, transformers, switchgear, and other materials as per project needs.
• Make and manage purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery.

✅ Managing Vendors

• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Check supplier quality and reliability.
• Negotiate prices and contracts to get the best deals.

✅ Keeping Costs in Check

• Keep an eye on purchase costs and reduce unnecessary expenses.
• Help in planning budgets for purchasing materials.

✅ Teamwork & Documentation

• Work with engineers, project managers, and logistics teams to make sure materials arrive on time.
• Keep records of orders, quotations, and vendor performance.
• Follow company rules and legal regulations for purchasing.

✅ Staying Updated & Following Rules

• Make sure all purchases follow industry and company rules.
• Handle import/export paperwork if needed.

What You Should Have:

✔ Good negotiation and communication skills.

✔ Experience in buying materials for power transmission/EPC projects.

✔ Knowledge of working with suppliers and managing supply chains.

✔ Basic computer skills (ERP systems, MS Office).

✔ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

✔ 3-5 years in purchasing materials for power transmission or EPC projects.

✔ Experience handling contracts and procurement strategies.
