Job Description
- Strong research experience and analytical skills in a M&A OR Equity research OR Consulting environment focusing on
- Automotive/industrials sectors
- Leading and delivering Detailed Market Assessments decks and creating Thematic studies and Market Studies
- Expertise in preparing M&A Proposals, Industry research, Opportunity Papers, White papers, POVs, Information Memorandums with minimum guidance
- Being actively involved in structuring client outputs and its delivery
- Have good knowledge of valuations principles and financial statements analysis
- Have good knowledge of research databases like Capital IQ, Factset, Refinitiv, Factiva, Reuters, Global Data, PitchBook and renewables sector databases
- Securing additional work for the current engagement or for related opportunities
- Actively promote the sharing of knowledge within the group
Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for stakeholder management (both internal and external) and leading client interactions, delivery, and relationship building with SaT Global Sector Heads
- Contributing to point of views, thought leadership and knowledge management to support practice development
- Supporting onshore teams on initiatives such as preparation of proposals and industry studies
- Build and manage a team of 4-5 sector specialists catering to sector practices across regions. Act as a counsellor for team members and focus on people development
- Ensuring EY s quality and risk management procedures are completed to the appropriate standard
- Directing, managing, and mentoring junior team members on engagements
- Recruiting, managing, and contributing to the development of junior staff
- Assign people to projects based on their skills, career goals and client s expectations
- Pro-actively keeping up to date in your field of profession on a global level
- Travel on assignments abroad, as required
To qualify for the role, you must have
- MBA or PG Diploma in Finance or Post Graduate Diploma in Finance or CFA - Level 3 passed or CA with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Credible record of operating at a team management level
- Strong analytical skills and strong written, communication and presentation skills
- Have creativity in pictorial representation of data, preparing decks for client presentations
Ideally, you ll also have
- Exposure to tools such as VBA, PowerBI, Thinkcell, etc will be an added advantage
