Job Description
- Reconciling amounts in documentation provided by clients and identifying inconsistencies
- Reviewing financial accounting policies provided by clients to identify treatment of certain costs for financial reporting purposes
- Applying U.S. federal income tax rules to properly classify costs throughout the inventory product lifecycle in the preparation of complex tax calculations
- Preparing documentation that supports the classifications of costs
- Coordinating with U.S. engagement teams to resolve open questions
- Knowledge in overall accounting methods and terminologies with significant usage experience in MS-Excel.
- Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in accounting or tax.
- A minimum of 0-1 year of work experience in the field of accounting or tax.
- Relevant work experience with managerial/internal/cost accounting or inventory-specific accounting is a strong plus.
- Excellent data analysis and manipulation skills (Microsoft Excel, Power Query or Alteryx).
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Corporate tax return preparation experience preferred.
- Analytical mindset.
- Extensive understanding on accounting terminologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
