Job Description

We are looking for an excellent communications professional, a strategic thinker, a strong relationship builder to promote GDS services within EY and help build the EY brand in the market.

You must be able to translate business strategy into measurable tactics aligned with business goals, work in virtual teams, and manage a range of global and GDS communications programs/ initiatives.

You will work with a variety of stakeholders to create engaging communication product.

You must be a great storyteller and content writer with outstanding project management skills.

Your primary responsibilities will include creating informative content to share EY s value proposition with our people and stakeholders.

You will manage GDS communication channels, developing and maintaining GDS content across internal EY and GDS channels, including social media.

And you will supervise the overall coordination of all marketing communications work between our team, in-house designers, vendors and editorial groups across EY.

You should be comfortable working in a flexible and agile environment, often with virtual teams across time zones.

Demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and manage time effectively are crucial to the roles success.

And we need a team player who supports the GDS BMC team to drive leading practices, quality and delivery excellence on brand, marketing and communications matters.

  • Strong experience managing and advising senior stakeholders
  • Ability to develop others and inspire a team
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and storytelling skills, as well as strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate, team and network across a matrixed organization, understanding how to communicate across different cultures, time zones and ranks
  • Proven capability to translate the business agenda into high-quality, relevant, audience-centric communications
  • Ability to work in complex change management environment support global transformation programs within a multinational environment
  • Have knowledge of social media platforms and kind of content which suits best for these platforms.

  • Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor s or master s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or public relations
  • 10-14 years in marketing communications or internal communications roles
  • Stakeholder and project management skills
  • Team management skills
  • Experience leading and managing corporate communications teams
  • Experience in a senior communications role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ideally, you ll also have
  • Previous experience in large, matrix organizations
  • Ability to support communications planning across multiple campaigns
  • Ability to advise leadership on how to use communications to make an impact with audiences effectively
  • Strategic thinker, confident writer and editor, and a strong relationship builder to promote our services within EY
  • Experience in developing key messaging and tactics to engage EY and GDS audiences
  • Understanding effective use of different channels
  • Using metrics and measurement tools to analyse the impact of various communications, making modifications where necessary.
