Job Description

Join Ernst & Youngs Tax Technology & Transformation team as a Technical Program Manager and play a pivotal role in the development and deployment of innovative AI solutions for tax compliance. You will be part of a dynamic team, leveraging the latest AI technologies to drive efficiency and accuracy in tax processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the AI in Tax initiative projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Facilitate user onboarding and training sessions to maximize adoption of new AI technologies.
Monitor project progress, conduct analytics, and provide regular updates to senior management.
Review and provide feedback on UI/UX designs to ensure a user-centric approach.
Address team issues, manage resources effectively, and support the professional growth of team members.
Oversee the application deployment process across various environments, ensuring seamless integration.
Engage in problem-solving and coordination to address project challenges and dependencies.
Handle ad-hoc requests and support ancillary project needs as they arise.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

Experience with AI technologies and programming languages such as Python.
Familiarity with application deployment and cloud environments.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
Proactive problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or Microsoft Project.
Understanding of DevOps processes and deployment strategies on public cloud platforms.
Delivers the project within the constraints of time, scope, and costs by applying best in class project management practices
Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively
Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation
Familiarity with working in a decentralised team structure with experience of handling ultiple stakehodlers and deployments across environments

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

BE/BTech/MCA/(Btech/ BE/ + MBA)/ MTech from any Govt. recognized university/Institution
At least 3 years of experience in technical project management, with exposure to AI/ML projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
ITIL certification (preferred).
Experience in AI/ML projects (preferred)

Ideally, You ll Also Have:

The ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
A customer-focused approach with the capacity to interact with various levels of management.

Likes

Lot of learning opportunities from different client projects.

Dislikes

Poor work life balance. We have to work for 2 to 3 projects at the same time without telling the clients that we are also working for another project. Really bad work culture and I would suggest not to join EY India Tech Consulting practice unless you don't have other option.
