SIAM Service Introduction Manager
The SIAM Service Introduction Manager oversees the seamless introduction of new services into the SIAM environment, ensuring they meet requirements and are successfully deployed. Responsibilities include planning, coordination, testing, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Key skills include analytical abilities, communication, project management, and attention to detail, facilitating smooth service deployment within the SIAM framework.
Job Responsibilities
The Job Roles and responsibilities include the following (but not limited to): -
1. New Service Introduction:
- Manage the introduction of new services into the SIAM environment.
- Ensure new services meet defined requirements before going live.
2. Planning and Coordination:
- Develop detailed service introduction plans.
- Coordinate with teams for seamless service deployment.
3. Testing and Validation:
- Oversee testing and validation of new services.
- Ensure completion and approval of necessary documentation.
4. Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with service introduction.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
- Keep stakeholders informed of service introduction progress.
- Facilitate communication between development, operations, and service providers.
6. Organization and Verticals.
- Develop and maintain a best practice repository for their respective Practice that can be adopted by other GOCs and verticals.
- Create and refine frameworks and methodologies for their respective practice that can be scaled and replicated across organizations.
- Document and standardize successful Process Management techniques and tools for broader use.
- Participate in the development of training materials and guidelines based on best practices for their respective and related practices.
- Act as a liaison between the SIAM function and the Service Line to ensure alignment and integration of their best practices.
Requirements & Behavioral Attributes:
Professional Experience:
- Adequate understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) with 8-12 years of experience in a similar capacity/environment.
- Extensive experience in service introduction within a SIAM or similar multi-vendor environment.
- Proven track record of managing service deployment projects.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze requirements and risks associated with service introduction.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective collaboration with stakeholders and teams for smooth service deployment.
- Documentation Proficiency: Clear and concise documentation of service introduction plans and outcomes.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage resources, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
- Pressure Management: Work under tight deadlines and manage project complexities.
- Customer Focus and Empathy: Understanding and addressing stakeholder needs and concerns.
- Teamwork and Information Sharing: Promote collaboration and information sharing among teams.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and quality in service introduction processes.
- Situational Analysis and Decision-Making: Make informed decisions to manage service deployment effectively.
