Industry Relations Manager

Role & responsibilities -

1. Airline Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned airline accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with airline partners to enhance collaboration and achieve mutually beneficial goals.
• Provide regular updates to senior team members on airline account status, performance, and opportunities.

1. Contract Analysis and Implementation:

• Review and analyze airline contracts to understand key terms and identify areas for optimization.
• Ensure negotiated agreements are implemented effectively across all relevant systems.

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Monitor airline performance metrics, including revenue, sales volumes.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and airline partners.

1. Market Engagement:

• Represent the company in industry events and meetings, fostering relationships with airline representatives in the assigned region.
• Stay informed about airline industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.

1. Collaboration Across IATAs:

• Work closely with teams managing IATAs in the USA, Canada, Colombia, UK, UAE, India, Philippines, Singapore, and future markets like Holland.
• Ensure alignment of airline strategies across different markets and support the integration of new IATAs.

1. Problem Resolution:

• Act as a point of escalation for operational issues with assigned airline accounts, collaborating with internal teams to find resolutions.
• Address airline concerns promptly and professionally to maintain strong partnerships.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in airline account management, travel industry, or related fields.
• Familiarity with airline distribution models, GDS systems, NDC, ARC and IATA processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
