Finance HR Services (FHS) at DHL Group that s us! We deliver shared services in Finance and HR for our divisions within the group.

Our Finance Operations team supports our group in all financial activities, e.g. regarding accounts payable and receivable, general ledger and corporate treasury. These include asset accounting, intercompany alignment, active collecting, customs invoicing, profit and loss accounting and payment factory for DHL Group.

Our HR Services run e.g. the payroll for more than 350.000 employees within DHL Group working in 28 countries across the globe. They also offer time attendance management, employee data administration and reporting, travel expense processing and other services.

We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Chennai, India.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to ensure the smooth transition of finance processes from global locations to India (Chennai) for Finance Services. This position will also coordinate Process Documentation and Communication during the transition phase as well as close co-ordination with functional teams to develop the relevant performance indicators, KPI s for each team.

Your tasks:

• Support Center Lead in the expansion process of the finance services team in India.
• In co-ordination with the operational team, document the finance processes in the form of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP s) and get the same approved by the process owners.
• First point of contact for any escalation.
• Ensure proper On-boarding for new team members by coordinating with HR, IT, and other relevant functions.
• Coordinate all training measures of the team members to ensure quality at the right time.
• Support throughout the relevant phases of our SAP deployments (User acceptance tests, Go Live, stabilization phase for the respective entities)
• In daily business monitor the fulfillment of defined KPIs and support supervisors in all reporting and knowledge management matters Report on team efficiency management to the Location Manager.
• Drive and participate in professional projects, including digitization and automation initiatives as well as further development of the performance reporting system.
• Ad hoc reporting

Your profile:

Education Level

• Bachelor s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience/qualification. Professional Certification in Accounting/Finance is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of finance operations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to converse with cross functional SMT s.

Experience Level

• Experience in setup and steering services in a Shared Service Center environment.
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn, especially in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
• Decent Project Management experience inclusive of preparing, developing, and advancing large change programs through to implementation.
• Proficient in SAP / S4 Hana.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork by actively engaging with team members, sharing knowledge, and providing support where necessary.
• Excellent process documentation skills.
